Battle of the Badges is Hampton Roads’ premier amateur boxing promotion, bringing first responders into the ring for high-energy, community-driven competition.
Founded in 2010, the event quickly became a local favorite by pitting police, firefighters, EMTs, and other area first responders against one another in the spirit of camaraderie, fitness, and friendly rivalry. After a period of quiet, Battle of the Badges returns stronger than ever in 2026; recharged, refined, and ready to deliver unforgettable nights of amateur boxing.
Our mission is simple: Give the men and women who protect and serve Hampton Roads a powerful stage to showcase their toughness, discipline, and heart. Every bout celebrates the dedication of first responders while raising the energy and pride of the entire community.
Expect packed venues, loud crowds, and real amateur action. Battle of the Badges isn’t just a fight night, it’s a homecoming for Hampton Roads’ everyday heroes and a must-see event for boxing fans across Virginia.
